T-pose drawings

Rough one but gets the idea across

Week 3 class

Week 3
we were showed how to clean up our edge loops and add
new ones this gave me the ability to drop in the shill to exaggerate
 the features on the head

Edge loops working alot better that previous model

Teeth first attempt

i don't like them one bit and soo so gay compared to how i
envisioned them, will need to get some better references to teeth

First Time Maya

This my very first attempt at modeling a head in Maya
have no clue what im doing but i think it has turned out OK

i had quite a bit of trouble doing the mesh for the bits that
go up the side of his head. this was partly because the
tutorial for the head making did not involve anything like them and
also the mesh kept making strange spiky parts at the top.

the edge loops in this one currently don't link up at all but i
am beginning to try fix them all up now

Ears attempt

I tried to add ears but they all looked shit
so i have reverted back to the original idea of having none
i believe i will be able to give enough expression through
his eye shape and the raccoon line as his eyebrow and
his big ass nose

3/4 Views

This is the first three dimensional drawing i have attempted of him so far

The image on the right is more similar to what i actually want but the tail
on the left i might end up using once i have began modeling.

i am planning on doing allot of changes on shape and style depending on how
well i figure out how to use Maya and what looks best as a 3d model

HEAD AND EYES

This is just me trying to adjust the head to a style that i like

I changed the shape around the eyes and extended the long parts up the
side of his head to get him looking more alien like.
i have also started forming his personality.
he is going to be a grumpy, dim witted, elder experiment who
specializes in stealing stuff. i am going to show this through
a raccoon looking face pattern around his eyes, an over bite
with his bottom jaw and a few ugly teeth sticking up from his bottom jaw.

Second attempt sketch

For my second attempt i decided to go with the more stitch like character.
i tried to change the legs, face and tail to give him a different look.
the head shape and eyes are the main difference though and the only
part which im particularly happy with

First sketch attempt

This one was based off stitch himself but looks too alike so needs
some modification to move it away. i like the different shape of
the head but would like to remove the ears and change the eye shape
and the mnouth is too much the same as stitch

My second attempt i tried to start from scratch with not too much
resemblance to the original stitch. i tried to base him on an armadillo
hence the back armor but i dont like it very much
